Tennessee Titans training camp keeps chugging along in Week 2 with a practice session Wednesday morning, when stars like quarterback Will Levis, receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley, and defenders Jeffery Simmons and L'Jarius Sneed will take the field in full pads.
This will be the fifth practice of camp and the second one where the team will practice in full pads. The Titans showed a slightly different practice structure Tuesday than they had in OTAs and the first three days of training camp, adding an extra team period and an extra set of 1-on-1 drills for cornerbacks vs. receivers and for offensive linemen vs. pass rushers.
Practice begins at 8:30 a.m. CT, after which select players will address the media as they come off the field and at the podium. Updates and videos will begin to trickle through from the practice field in the first 10 minutes of the day, after which there are limitations on what media members can post from the field.
Wednesday's session is the fifth of nine training camp practices the Titans have scheduled before their first preseason game Aug. 10 against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Titans will play two additional preseason games, against the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints, as well as hold joint practices with the Seahawks, ahead of cut day on Aug. 27 and the start of the regular season on Sept. 8 against the Chicago Bears.

Jeffery Simmons on Tuesday's eventful day on and off field
Harold Landry says he lost 10-15 pounds during illness
Harold Landry said after practice that he lost 10-15 pounds due to the illness that kept him out of the first week of training camp. Landry practiced again Wednesday after returning on Tuesday.
Jarvis Brownlee shaken up but returns to practice
Defensive back Jarvis Brownlee went down during the team period, but eventually got up on his own after the medical staff came out to look at him. Brownlee eventually returned to the sideline with his teammates after getting checked out.
Brownlee did eventually return to live practice work later on.
Will Levis has a good day in 7-on-7s
Will Levis and the first-team skill group had a good day in 7-on-7s. Levis completed two deep passes in tight coverage, one to Tyler Boyd over Roger McCreary on a wheel route and another to Treylon Burks who beat Tre Avery vertically.
Levis was 6-of-8 overall. Mason Rudolph and Malik Willis each went 1-for-4. Otis Reese and Gabe Jeudy-Lally both had pass breakups.

The Titans are going through some kickoff return work. Working at kick returner: Treylon Burks, Tyjae Spears, Jha'Quan Jackson, Kearis Jackson, Jabari Small, Kyle Philips, Mason Kinsey, Sam Schnee, Tre'Shaun Harrison and Eric Garror.
Titans coordinators speak before practice
All three Titans coordinators spoke to the media before the start of practice on Wednesday. The notes version:
- Titans special teams coordinator Colt Anderson said the new kickoff format "is going to evolve" throughout the season, and he'll be paying attention to how other teams are playing it around the league.
- Titans offensive coordinator Nick Holz said he's happy with Will Levis' decision-making in camp so far in not forcing throws into tight coverage.
- Holz also said that "we're still figuring out" how to best utilize Tyjae Spears and Tony Pollard in the backfield. It could be a matter of the "hot hand" in games gets the most snaps, Holz said.
- Defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson said that the coaching staff wants Kenneth Murray to "cut it loose" and play without worrying about making mistakes. Murray will be the "green dot" communicator on defense this year, but Wilson wants him to play like he has a green light.
- Wilson was complimentary of T'Vondre Sweat through a week-and-a-half of camp, saying that Sweat will need to continue to work on finishing plays consistently and "being in the greatest shape that he can be in" so he can play longer and more impactfully when the season arrives.

Tennessee Titans training camp schedule
The Titans kicked off training camp on July 24. They will have four more practices before the first preseason game on Aug. 10 against the San Francisco 49ers. Joint practices and a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks follow, and the preseason finale comes against the New Orleans Saints on Aug. 25, with cut day on Aug. 27.
When are Titans' open practices?
The Titans' first practice open to fans was on July 27 at Nissan Stadium. Two other practices will be open to the public, on Aug. 8 and Aug. 15, but those sessions are already sold out.
When are Titans' joint practices?
The Titans' joint practices against the Seahawks are on Aug. 14 and 15.

The Titans' game against the 49ers is Aug. 10 at Nissan Stadium at 6 p.m. CT.
The game against the Seahawks is on Aug. 17 at Nissan Stadium at 6 p.m. CT.

Titans 2024 schedule
The Tennessee Titans begin their 2024 NFL season on Sept. 8 in Chicago against the Bears and hold their home opener the following Sunday against the New York Jets. Titans predictions 2024
Predictions for the Titans in 2024 aren't particularly positive. Given Levis' lack of experience as a starting NFL quarterback and the team with a first-year head coach, offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator, coupled with the emergence of the Houston Texans in the AFC South, the Titans' playoff hopes aren't strong.
