Anna Faye Kiesow, 76, Edina, formerly of Baring died January 13, 1987, in the Grim-Smith Hospital in Kirksville.
The daughter of George Washington and Jessie Louella Smith, she was born June 11, 1910 in Oklahoma.
April 20, 1932, at Edina, she married Harley William Kiesow and he preceded her in death on August 16, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Richard Dale Kiesow, five brothers, Walter, Roy, Hubert, Leo and Claude Smith and three sisters in infancy, Freda, Dorothy and Lorraine.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Thelma) Riekeberg of Baring, and Carolyn Shoop of Macon; one son, Vincent Rourke of Burlington, Ia.; three sisters, Mrs. Goldie Wells and Mrs. Mae McCoy both of Memphis and Mrs. Beulah Stephan of Edina; one brother, Melvin Smith of Carthage, Ill.; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Kiesow had farmed in the Greensburg and Baring communities and moved into Baring in 1957. Mrs. Kiesow had been a resident of the Knox County Nursing Home for the past two years. She was a member of the Millport Christian Church.
Funeral services were held January 16, 1987, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel, Edina. Rev. Archie Cooper of Kirksville officiated the service. Burial was at the Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg. Casket bearers were George Dailing, Howard Parrish, Joe Wayne Parrish, Raymond Eyler, Jack Little and Ralph Smith.
